This issue of Time Magazine (Nov. 13, 2006) explored the current “debate” between those who believe in God, and those who have taken issue with all religions - based on their belief that science is replacing religion.

The following is an excerpt from a “debate” between Francis S. Collins, and Richard Dawkins, as arbitrated by TIME’s representative.

Collins led the genome project at NIH in Bethesda, MD, which discovered the entire DNA chain of the human body for the very first time. Richard Dawkins occupies the Charles Simonyi professorship for the public understanding of science at Oxford University. Both of these scientists have written books – each taking opposite sides of this “debate” (Collins for God, and Dawkins for Science replacing God).

In this “debate” Time’s representative asks Collins the following question:

TIME: Both your books suggest that if the universal constants, the six or more characteristics of our universe, had varied at all, it would have made life impossible. Dr. Collins, can you provide an example?

COLLINS: The gravitational constant, if it were off by one part in a hundred million million, then the expansion of the universe after the Big Bang would not have occurred in the fashion that was necessary for life to occur. When you look at that evidence, it is very difficult to adopt the view that this was just chance. But if you are willing to consider the possibility of a designer, this becomes a rather plausible explanation for what is otherwise an exceedingly improbable event--namely, our existence.

So Collins says an error as small as 0.00000000000001 in the gravitational constant would have made life impossible anywhere in the cosmos (for the evolution of the universe after the “Big Bang” would not have produced suns – so no light – and no heat – and other missing links in the chain to life)! So then an “Intelligent Designer” (God) is the most “probable” answer to this most unlikely happenstance, since the probability it was the intelligent design of God is found to be 1.0 - 0.000000000001 x 100% = 99.999999999999 %. And these probabilities become more amazing when you consider there are five more physical constants, whose magnitudes were equally necessary for life to exist.

TIME: Doesn’t the very notion of miracles throw off Science?

DAWKINS: If ever there was a slamming of the door in the face of constructive investigation, it is the word miracle.

In his book"The Language of God", Collins speaks of his conviction there is no conflict between the rigorous application of Scientific principle as consistent with a rational belief in God, and one's ability to maintain a deep Faith, and a life dedicated to moral principles guided by the Holy Spirit - all within a rational approach to both sides of the "debate". I agree whole-heartedly, without reservations or limitations, now or forever. Collins' book is replete with facts on the physical constants and the evolution of the cosmos which astounds the mind and heart with its overwhelming display of mathematical probabilities proving the existence of God and His omniscience in the case of the evolution of the cosmos following the "Big Bang" theory. (NOTE: The "Big Bang" physical cosmology theory was first discovered by Georges Lemaître, a Belgian Roman Catholic Priest; the "Big Bang" physical cosmology "law", was discovered next by Edwin Hubble, and then proven by his observations). Hubble's "Law" then is a proven law of nature, and so it is a point where all philosophies can agree, which after all is a point where peace between all ideologies can start. For "Physical Constants", by their very nature, are non denominational, and they do not change. Furthermore, on a physical level, this is analogous to why theologians speak of God as Immutable (i.e., unchangeable). This unchangeable nature of Physics, is why Hubble's theory is indisputable (while so perfectly reflecting the unchangeable heart and mind of God).

Seen with the eyes of love, Hubble's "law" compels my heart to respond to a Father God, who loves so much, that He could conceive of such a wonderful world, imbued with such riches for man - the object of His love. And God set all of this in motion, yet patiently awaited the 14 Billion year countdown, just so that when His beloved arrived, His beloved could not escape the reality of both the beauty and the source of His creation (thanks to both Hubble and the Apostle John's famous Prophesy - see below). After all, does not the lover (God) avidly desire the love of the beloved (mankind)? And while that alone is enough to bind all philosophies together in peace, He also sent His only begotten Son to earth. And now at this very moment in history, when we have so much disunity, and to confirm His Son's mission, He also made sure we would find peace in one Faith, when He illumined the mind of the Apostle John with a vision which would be fulfilled at a time when our world was most ideologically separated, in order for His children (the world of souls) to stay at peace. That vision, and its correlation with science as well as prophesy, is the "story" behind this web site. That "story" is one, which is intimately connected to the story of ROSÆ. It is a story, which is all about this tremendous lover - Our Father God - the greatest Scientist of all. ROSÆ is a story, which appeals to both the mind (Science) and the heart (Faith, Hope, Agape Love).

St. John was "caught up to heaven" and shown the future, which he wrote about in the Book of Revelations. In Rev. 12:1, he spoke about "The Sign of the Woman" as comprised of twelve stars. Of course St. John's intent for this "sign" was spiritually focused, but it also had a physical manifestation. For, most Biblical Scholars agree that this sign will be visible from earth "in the sky above" (and so the "twelve stars" will be clearly seen by the whole world in near space).

In the original language of Revelations as written by St. John, the word "circumscribe" comes closer to his words than the word "crowned", but since the Biblical Scholars did not have knowledge of today's Physics, and the sign definitely was about "The Woman", and they knew it was a three fold sign (signifying three aspects of "Woman"), they interpreted it with the knowledge available to them and spoke of the Woman as "crowned" with twelve stars.

However, a star is a sun, and its light comes from the nuclear transition of hydrogen to helium whenever an accumulation of matter in space (after Billions of years) reaches such a huge dimension that the gravitational forces become so intense that the critical mass is reached where atomic fission can occur. This is why the planets of that sun circle the sun (not the other way around). So if St. John's "twelve stars" were actually real stars, they could not circle around the earth (i.e., could not "circumscribe" it), but would circle about their common centroid in space, with gravitational forces which would destroy the earth (not even considering the heat which would incinerate the earth). In short, what St. John saw may have looked like stars, but they could not actually be stars (i.e., they could not be suns).

Also, St. John's original text could be interpreted as either the threefold Sign of the Woman "standing on the moon" (as my Bible reads), or the Sign of the Woman having the same foundation as the moon. But, as everyone knows, the moon is a satellite of earth. So, given the reality of the constants of Physics (as with the constancy or immutability of God), I am certain these "stars" were not suns, but rather light emitting satellites, since the moon is a satellite of earth. Then what St. John saw were twelve brightly shinning satellites, which somehow replicated this threefold "Sign of the Woman".

Now consider the additional huge probability in the case of ROSÆ as another “Intelligent design of God”, since there is a huge probability that the twelve stars, which were "seen” by St. John 2,000 years ago in a vision, and reported by him in Revelations 12:1, is none other than ROSÆ. (This can’t be written off as “happenstance”, as exemplified in the “sound bite” in the “SUM” slides, which are hyperlinked further down on the main page of this web site). A “proof” of this is based on mathematics with a near 100% probability in which ROSÆ fulfills St. John’s prophesy in Revelations 12:1. So this results in the following revision of the interpretation now used by most biblical scholars as follows.

1. Latin Text for Revelations 12:1:

{12:1} Et signum magnum apparuit in cælo: Mulier amicta sole, et luna sub pedibus eius, et in capite eius corona stellarum duodecim:

2. The common English interpretation for the past several Centuries has been as follows (prior to the discovery of ROSÆ):

{12:1} And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon was under her feet, and on her head was a crown of twelve stars.

3. A far more appropriate interpretation, now that ROSÆ’s fundamental and immutable Physics and projected growth are known:

Note: Here, the Latin word “corona” best fits ”encircling” or “circumscribing” or “shining aura” (to mirror the corona about the sun during an eclipse). So, with this new knowledge of ROSÆ, we might now more accurately interpret this passage as follows:

{12:1} And a great sign appears in the "starry heavens" above: as the "threefold sign of the woman": The Old Testament Church "Mother"; The New Testament Church "Mother"; Our "Mother" Mary. And the sign is also a Rosary, the sign of the Virgin Mary - the new Eve. This sign is formed by twelve satellites, orbiting like the moon about the earth, all of which shine like twelve "stars" which are symmetrically revolving about the earth. And this sign also projects as the twelve gates of the New Jerusalem in the form of twelve hearts - the united hearts of Jesus and Mary, beating as one.

And so, respecting the immutability of Physics first, and continuing along the same line of thought as does Collins second, and then considering that these considerations limit the "twelve stars" seen by St. John in Rev. 12:1 such that they could not be anything other than twelve satellites (certainly not suns), I found that ROSÆ (the world's first satellite patent) had even more astounding correlations between Physics, Mathematics, and the further revelations of God’s mercy and omniscience (as outlined in these hyperlinked pages).

Now that you have seen this web site's evidence, I trust you will admit there is an overwhelming probability that ROSÆ is an Intelligent design of God, since there is a huge probability that the "Twelve Stars", which were "seen” by St. John, the Apostle, 2,000 years ago in a vision, and reported by him in Revelations 12:1, is none other than ROSÆ. This can’t be written off as “happenstance”. For, how could St. John, with his Roman era mindset, know of Newton, Einstein, Aries, Heisenberg, Huygens, Maxwell, Gauss, et. al. ? So how could St. John set about conjuring up Rev. 12.1 to such a perfect fit to their scientific discoveries and their respective theories, which have stood the test of time and are the Physics on which ROSÆ stands? So if this does not pass the test of a “miracle”, then what does? And like the “miracle” of the blinding light which changed “Saul’s” persecution of the Church (on the Road to Damascus), to his conversion to Christianity under his new name “Paul”, could not the “lights” of ROSÆ ‘s “Twelve Stars” do the same for this modern persecution of religion by atheists under the guise of Science? (How awesome of God to foresee all of this, and to use true science to defeat false science). Is nto ot this “miracle” of ROSÆ‘s fulfillment of St. John’s prophesy yet another example of God’s mercy and love for all?

Dear reader, take heart! Help me to spread this good news! Since the scientific evidence is so overwhelming in favor of an “Intelligent Designer”, and God’s mercy in His miracles, then none should fear ridicule for expressing any of these mathematical probabilities. So spread this good news – as a part of spreading the Gospel itself. For God’s hands are everywhere about us – guiding and moving us out of His tremendous love for the whole world.

Yet the vast majority of the human condition is a work place devoid of any basis in which there is an effective rule of Faith as a factor in the guidance of the working community. This faithless working condition is dehumanizing. It is a growing cancer in the social order. It is time to find a cure. And so my heart rejoices in knowing that God Himself, from before the cosmos began (the “Big Bang” occurred 14 billion years ago), “saw” this time would come and provided the antidote. And that antidote is Faith, Hope, and Love. And as if that were not enough, now we have ROSÆ, which a provident Father God has kept hidden until now – a miraculous fulfillment of a 2,000 year old Prophesy! (In the “debate” in TIME, Dawkins was adamantly opposed to “miracles”. So now with ROSÆ‘s discovery, it seems as though our loving God has heard his unspoken plea for Faith and reached out to touch his heart, and the hearts of millions of others who are also victims of the evils of materialism with all of its many manifestations).

Now then, imagine for a moment what the working place will be like when ROSÆ and her “children” begin to multiply (other new enterprises and products always follow basic discoveries). For how can the working place avoid an atmosphere of Thanksgiving to such a loving and generous Father God as He who has provided this new Faith centered basis for work? I see this as the antidote to the “societal cancer”, which we all are enduring today.
